Blueberry Semolina Tea Cake Recipe - Ami Bhatt

1 cup
fine Sooji/Semolina ½ cup
Yogurt ½ cup
powdered sugar 1/4th
cup butter ½ tsp
Vanilla essence ½ tsp
Baking Soda ½ tsp
Baking Powder ¼ cup
Milk ½ cup
dry blueberries |
METHOD |
·
Grind the regular dry Sooji in the mixer to
make it fine. ·
In a bowl, take yogurt and add baking soda and
baking powder. Mix it well till bubbles are seen in the mixture. ·
Add sugar, butter, vanilla essence to the
mixture. ·
Then add the fine Sooji powder to it and mix. ·
Then add the milk and mix simultaneously to
make a batter. ·
Take dry blueberries and dust some powdered
sugar over it. [This step is to ensure that the berries don’t shrink while
baking] ·
Add the powdered blueberries to the batter. ·
Preheat the oven 10-15 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. ·
Grease a baking pan with butter, then add the
entire batter into it. ·
Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake
for 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. ·
Serve hot. ·
