Eggless Buttercream Yoyo Cookies Recipe - Ami Bhatt

INGREDIENTS |
80g Softened
Butter ½
cup plain flour 1/4th
cup custard powder 3
tbsp icing sugar ½
tsp vanilla essence 1
tbsp Milk (optional) ½
cup butter icing 2
drops pink food colouring |
METHOD |
·
In a large bowl take the butter and icing sugar
and beat till it turns light in consistency. ·
Add vanilla essence to the mixture. Then add
flour and custard powder. Mix well to make a dough. ·
If the dough feels hard in consistency, you may
add milk to it to make it softer. ·
Make small balls from the dough. ·
Place baking paper over a baking dish and place
all the balls over it with a suitable distance between each of them. ·
Dip a fork in flour, and press it lightly over each
ball. ·
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes at 180
degrees. ·
After removing from the oven, let them cool at
room temperature. ·
For stuffing, add some pink food colouring to
the butter icing (can be made by beating some butter and icing sugar). ·
Using a spoon or spatula, place some of the butter
icing in between two cookies and press them gently till it sets. ·
